Disabling USB drives isn’t something that is very difficult. It actually helps if you know how to with the added benefit of showing off. HaHa!! So here is how you do it.

Step 1 : Click on start > Run (Or you can do Win + R shortcut command)

Step 2 : Type regedit and click Ok.

Step 3 : Navigate to the below path

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Services > USBTOR

Step 4: On Clicking USBTOR on the right pane double click on Start

Step 5 : Select the base field and click Hexadecimal. Change the value to textbox to 4 to disable your USB.

Step 6 : Change the value in step 5 to 3.

You may need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect
